Finished in September 2011, this incredible home with its timber framed front porch and exposed timber truss system in the great room, will no doubt suit the growing family for many years to come! The main floor has a three car garage with a bonus room above. A mudroom with built in bench and cubbies makes a perfect entry for a family. Giants Ridge Project #1 - 2011 Parade Home

Finished in May 2011, this stunning custom home was shown in the 2011 Duluth Parade of Homes. This traditional two story home was designed for family comfort and efficiency. The spacious great room features a wood burning fireplace and vaulted ceiling with stained timbers contrasted by pine tongue & groove ceiling. The custom kitchen layout is unique with a center baking island plus and additional island with bar stool seating. Among many kitchen details is a stone arch which envelopes the stainless steel oven range and hood vent. Beams on the kitchen ceiling match the great room and carry through the formal dining room and breakfast nook. The master suite, office, laundry and mudroom finish off the main floor. Upstairs are three bedrooms for kids and guests with a shared bath and study area. The lower level is completely finished with a kids play area, theater, craft room, sauna, and rec room with a wet bar.

Finished in March 2011, this sprawling rambler is set back in the woods in Hermantown. Designed by De'lea Design, this incredible home is nestled into the landscape, yet has plenty of room for a growing family! The home provides a three car garage, a large kitchen with a walk-in pantry and a breakfast area. All the cabinetry in the home is custom built in our cabinet shop! There are vaulted ceilings in  the living room, dining room and master suite. The Geothermal heating and cooling system is today's most economical indoor comfort available.

East Duluth Project

Finished in January 2011, this enchanting home was built in an established Duluth neighborhood near Lake Superior. With our clients, we designed this home to bring out the charm of country french architecture. Inside are barrel vaults, wood beams and millwork that accentuate the home's elegance. For peace of mind, the home is designed for wheelchair accessibility including a three story elevator. Guests enter through a formal entryway into the great room that is open to the dining area withh 11' ceilings, built-in bookshelves, and a gas fireplace with a marble mantle. The living room has a wood burning fireplace with adjacent built-ins and french doors leading out to a back patio. The kitchen accomodates twin Sub-Zeros, a 36" gas range and a large walk-in pantry. It also features a versatile island, wine storage and a butler's pantry. All the cabinetry is custom built and complimented with granite countertops. The spacious master suite has a large walk-in closet, its own gas fireplace, a bath with walk-in shower and a jetted spa tub. The home also has two guest bedrooms each with a private bath, a three car garage, a large study, a sauna and a steam shower.

Designed by Sala Architects, this one of a kind family home is nestled in the woods, on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Taking advantage of the awesome views, the design has mostly window walls facing the lake. With its natural stone "real" wood burning fireplace, stone veneer, western cedar lap siding inside and out, this home fits the landscape perfectly. The lower level features a media room, exercise room, sauna, play/game room and guest bedroom. Description: This home was a 2010 Parade Home! This home on the "rock" is a testimoney of efficient planning, without losing appeal. Designed with the family in mind, the "behind the house" attached garage gives room for play. Stone deck columns, along with stone veneer, lap & shake siding, bring to the fore its "Craftsman" feel. Taking advantage of the great views of the city, Lake Superior and the harbors, was a priority.
